In working with the citizens of Amherst and the surrounding areas, APD has established several different pages so citizens and students can submit a "tip" to APD about illegal activity, unlawful behavior and other areas of concern.
If you need to make an official formal report, please call or visit the Amherst Police Department. Formal reports are not handled through this "e-tip" format.
Submissions made through the individual E-tips will be reviewed every 24-48 hours. If you wish to remain anonymous, you may, but its best for us to follow-up on a report by calling and speaking with the reporting party. If you have an emergency, please call 911 or the Amherst Police Department at 673-4900.
APD has set up three different E-tip sections one for general tips, one for information to be forwarded to the School Resource Officer at Souhegan High School and another to be forwarded to the School Resource Officer at the Amherst Middle School.
