A warming station will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 9pm at the central fire station.  Water is available at the fire station and police station.  Shower facilities are available at Souhegan High School from 9am to 9pm, via the north side entrance.  If you need assistance or know someone in need of assistance, or shelter, please call the Amherst Emergency Services dispatch center at 673-4900.  A shelter facility is available at the Cashin Senior Activity Center, 151 Douglas St., Manchester.  We do not know how long power will be out, however, PSNH has advised this will be a multi-day event.

The most recent list of obstructed and closed roads includes:

Austin Rd., Broadway, County Rd., Cross St., Dodge Rd., Rte 122 south of Rte 101A, Ravine Rd., Schoolhouse Rd., Seaverns Bridge Rd., Spring Rd., Washer Cove.

Residents are reminded to adhere to generator safety recommendations.  Generators must be used outdoors, well away from any structure, and not inside garages, etc.

If you have not already done so, residents are encouraged to sign up for the CodeRED emergency notification service, which may be used again to update residents.  For anyone that still has internet access, the signup page is available via link at www.amherstnh.gov, and amherstpolice.com.
